About Me:

Hi, I’m Dwayne Banks Jr.—a visual storyteller with a passion for capturing the in-between moments. I picked up a camera in high school and developed my voice at Illinois State University, where I began photographing everything from college sports, student life, minor league baseball and local events.

Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s in Journalism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I work with Fighting Illini Athletics and the Men’s Hockey Team. My work has also appeared in The Daily Illini and The Illio.
